This 70 mm vented screw cap is made of  high density polyethylene (HDPE). The cap has 8 threads per inch and a 3/4 inch knockout, where the vent is located. The vent is made of microporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) which relieves pressure and vacuum.

The EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) gasket has excellent resistance to heat, UV exposure and aging. It's resistance to harsh weather conditions make it ideal for outdoor applications. EPDM also provides excellent chemical resistance.
