Drum and Pail Covers, Lids, and Tops

The main enemy of steel drums is water. Rain, snow, and industrial fallout collect on uncovered drums, damaging them. Then, when the drum is opened, water and corrosion can contaminate the contents. Pressure changes caused by thermal cycling during the day can also pull collected water past the drum plug, ruining the product inside. Solution: Keep the water off the drum by using a drum cover, lid, or top.

Galvanized Steel Drum Covers

DC- Series allows stacking of drums without use of pallets. 26 gauge galvanized steel covers are not affected by cold weather, sunlight. Wont cut, rip or tear. Resists rust. One-piece construction with 1-1/4" beaded rim; safe to handle with no sharp edges. Model 126Z Cover has welded easy-lift handle, no beaded edge.

"Shower Cap" Drum Covers

Choice of polyethylene or PVC
Wind-proof elastic hem

Low cost protection from dirt, dust, moisture. Prevents contamination and evaporation. Heavy-duty elastic hem is securely lock-sewn, keeps cover in place yet allows easy removal when needed. Polyethylene Covers are made from clear 4 mil FDA-Approved LDPE, or 8 mil black woven LPDE (not FDA approved), with 3/8" wide elastic band. Anti-Static Polyethylene Covers are ideal for areas where flammable vapors are present.
