Drum Capseals

Capseals are the most widely used type of drum seal. They're lightweight metal or plastic caps that crimp over the bung openings with a special tool. To remove them, they must be destroyed. That won't stop anybody really determined to get inside the drum, but it's easy to tell if tampering has occurred.

Capseals for Hex-Head Type Plugs

Fits steel drums and most plastic drums

Fits hex-head type steel plugs and most plastic drums

Self-gasketing capseals crimp over drum plugs. Once crimped in place, they indicate unauthorized entry into the drum because the capseal must be destroyed to be removed. Requires sealing tool, order separately. Choice of plain white color or attention-getting "Sealed For Your Protection" decoration in poly or "This Package Is Sealed To Protect You" decoration in steel.

Simply slide tool jaw under the skirt of the capseal and push down. Capseal pops off but can't be re-installed.
