Unlike other three-arm drum lifters, this unit features a polyurethane spring loop which keeps constant tension on the drum top. This is especially beneficial when using the lifter to transport a heavy drum in a rugged environment where swinging, bouncing and incidental collisions may occur. It has ductile-iron arms for maximum holding power. 

Safely lift heavy closed-head and open-head 55 gallon steel drums with an installed lid. May also use with 55 gallon plastic and fiber drums that have a top lip strong enough to hold the weight of the filled drum. May be used to lift vertically or horizontally positioned drums and to change the drum’s orientation (vertical to horizontal and vice versa).

A large lifting ring accommodates most overhead lifting mechanisms and the unit’s narrow profile is great for picking drums packed close together.

Unit must be manually engaged and disengaged with the drum.
