Production-type closing station increases pail closing efficiency. Seals cover and crimps all 8 cover lugs simultaneously. Frame is made of carbon steel. Heads are made of brass (spark-resistant for use in flammable areas).

The 2-palm safety interlock controls keep operator's hands away from pinch points. Powered by an air operated cylinder with a 6 inch bore and 5 inch stroke. Requires 80–100 psi air supply.

Closing jaws on all units are made of malleable iron. Adjusts to accommodate containers with covers in position for closing 6 1/2 inch to 20 inch H. Overall height of unit is 69 inches.
