BASCO's Hazardous Area Drum Heater is ATEX and IECEx Certified for Zone 1 and Zone 2 use in flammable and explosive areas equal to Class 1 Division 1 and Class 1 Division 2 environments in the USA. Constructed with custom elastomer and silicone coated glass cloth materials and high density fiberglass insulation.

The heating medium uses a patented technology of positive temperature coefficient membranes. Safe operating conditions are maintained even in the presence of potentially explosive gases.

Maximum temperatures up to 176° F (80° C) can be achieved when supplied with 240V. No transformers are required. If using for freeze protection applications, a maximum temperature of 104° F (40° C) can be achieved when supplied with 110V.

Power cord supplied open ended to facilitate plant wiring.

Overall dimension: 76:77" L x 33.47" H (1950 mm x 850 mm).
