The open-head steel drum  is designed, manufactured, and certified to meet UN requirements for hazardous materials under DOT 49 CFR with UN ratings of 1A2/Y1.5/150 & 1A2/X200/S. The open-head drum is constructed of first-quality cold rolled steel and supplied with rust-inhibitor interior. The plain cover has a 12 gauge bolt-type locking ring closure with bolt, nut and gasket.

Steel drums are environmentally friendly since they can be re-cycled or re-conditioned and re-purposed.
