The Reducer Cap has 8 threads per inch and a 3/4 inch NPT opening for a vent plug or faucet. Made of  precision injection molded high density polyethylene (HDPE), is natural  in color and has an EPDM gasket. HDPE is a sturdy and reliable translucent plastic, resists UV penetration and withstands high temperatures.

The EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) gasket has excellent resistance to heat, UV exposure and aging. It's resistance to harsh weather conditions make it ideal for outdoor applications. EPDM also provides excellent chemical resistance.
