Conventional drum trucks are designed to be pushed under the drum and tilt it back towards the operator at an angle of between 45 and 60. This subsequently places significant strain on the operators's back, along the operators's arms, and down their spine. The drum transporter completely avoids this scenario due to its unique vertical lift and hold design. There is no need to maneuver the drum, as the drum is automatically engaged with a multi-adjustable catch, which latches on to the top lid of the drum. Just depress the foot bar and pull back on the handle and the drum is elevated straight up off the floor. In this position, the load is balanced and there is virtually no load on the operator. The weight is completely transferred to the wheels and this leaves the operator free to push the unit with very little effort.
The drum transporter is ideal for use in areas where filled drums need to be moved, but where forklifts are not cost effective or represent a hazard. This extraordinary drum transport is constructed of stainless steel for durability.
